Food was delicious. Definitely worth the drive to Sebastopol. Hope to come back soon. Only problem is parking, so be prepared to walk at least a block to get here. It's worth it though.

This place is lovely inside. Lots of windows, modest and simple decor with a lovely vibe.
The food is barely average imo but the staff, decor and ambiance keeps me returning though not that often.
I ordered pad thai that wasn't as spicy, flavorful or sweet (from tamarind paste) as most I've enjoyed. Also ordered green onion cake whip was different than any other. They use moo shu wrappers and fill with a spinach green onion mixture and bake or grill I'll like a quesadilla. Was good though not outstanding but enjoyable.
I'd recommend curries if you decide to give a try. -

I had a less than positive experience with Thai Pot's pad Thai way back in the year 2000 or thereabouts, and it left a literal bad taste in my mouth. Not so when I finally gave them a second chance, however.
I had a vegetable soup with tofu and it was the perfect dinner for a rainy evening--a light but flavorful broth, full of veggies and filling slabs of tofu. My grandma had the cashew vegetables which featured one of the best stir fry sauces I've tried.
Prices are reasonable, and they give you chocolate truffles with the check.
The only drawback really is the ambiance. Kind of cold and didn't get greeted/seated for a few minutes. I'd still go back, though. They've redeemed themselves. -

I went to Thai Pot because the other place in town was closed, the staff seems nice & genuine but the dish I got was pretty underwhelming. The Pad See-ew was pretty flavorless & bland, just boring. I couldn't really tell if there was even a sauce on it. I'll probably try them again if my favorite place is closed again, but I'll be getting a different dish for sure.

We've had great food and service from the Thai Pot for years. But this last weekend when a caterer in Petaluma completely flaked on our to go order for our annual post holiday party for our employees, the Thai Pot was able to put a great spread together for 30 people in an hour. So glad they're a part of our community!
